ANNOUNCES JOCKEY AS AD COMPETITION SPONSOR FOR MARIO, MAKE ME A MODEL
Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas announces Jockey International, Inc. and its revolutionary JOCKEY®bra as a sponsor for a special ad competition as part of Mario, Make Me A Model 2014. This dynamic opportunity for the contestants offers them a chance to be featured in a full page ad in Michigan Avenue Magazine for this high profile national brand. The public will be asked to vote online for their favorite out of five ads.
A photo shoot with renowned Chicago photographer Matt Ferguson will give each of the five finalists in the contest a chance to pose for a Jockey ad. All five ads will be produced and posted on www.mariomakemeamodel.com for the public to acknowledge their favorite advertisement starting Monday, April 21 and will conclude Thursday, May 15, the day before the finale fashion show for Mario, Make Me A Model 2014. The winning ad will be announced live at the runway finale and appear in the June issue of Michigan Avenue Magazine 2014.
According to Megan Bueschel, SVP/Chief Marketing Officer of Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas, all of the partners in the program contribute to the experiences provided for the finalists. “We want the contestants to be exposed to what it is really like to be a model. Through our partners, the program introduces them to a model’s lifestyle from regular workouts and education about healthy eating, to training a runway walk and print poses as well as providing all of the different activities for which a model may be hired. Now in addition to each taping their own TV commercial, posing for a fashion layout, and walking the runway in a designer fashion show; with Jockey on board, they will also shoot a print ad for a major national brand. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
Jockey joins the Mario, Make Me A Model contest as they introduce a new bra to the marketplace. In addition to voting for their favorite advertisement, the public can also cast a vote for their favorite contestant in the program. Each contestant is evaluated on their progress and achievement in seven areas for the contest, one of which is their ranking based on the public’s vote.
